Set of 2 - Tikumu and Tititea & Buttercups, the River and Aoraki
Save a total of $100 with this set of 2 original multi-block Linocut artworks.
'Tikumu and Tititea’ was inspired by an iconic pyramidal peak - Mt Aspiring/Tititea. Tititea is the tallest mountain outside of the Aoraki/Mt Cook region. Many different perspectives and views can be gained of Tititea, but this view is from high in the alpine zone of the East Matukituki Valley where over the warm summer months, tikumu/mountain daisies can be seen blooming all over.
'Buttercups, the River and Aoraki’ was inspired by New Zealand/Aotearoas tallest mountain - Mt Cook/Aoraki. For me, Aoraki evokes a sense of belonging and a connection to our natural environment. This is a view from the Hooker Valley, where in early summer as snow starts to melt, the river swells with an icy swiftness and the mt cook buttercups begin to bloom.
Approximately 57cm x 38cm printed on fawn coloured Stonehenge paper, with 2 deckled edges.
All of my artworks are hand-printed, with either the back of my hand, a spoon or a baren. This means that some prints may have small differences depending on how much ink or pressure was applied.
These prints will be posted in a mailing tube, if you would rather it mailed flat, please let me know and I can sort something else out. There may be an additional cost to posting it flat.
